Creating a Campus Email Signature
Note: Here are instructions for creating a signature in Outlook.
In your preferred email client, create a signature within the following parameters:
- Use Helvetica or Arial for the font.
- Why? The campus fonts are proprietary, and may not be readable on all e-mails. Campus encourages the use of universal fonts.
- Make all the text in your signature 12pt.
- Bold your name at the top and include the following elements:
Firstname Lastname
[Pronouns optional]
Title
Unit
UC Davis
(530) 123-4567
email@ucdavis.edu
Add a Sticker!
To include an email sticker, right-click (or control-click on a Mac) on the image you want from the selection below, choose "Copy Image" and paste the image in your email signature block.
Use one primary email signature.
- Outgrow the Expected Signatures: designed for the new branding, these incorporate the woodcuts and/or watercolors
- CampusReady Signatures: Designed to encourage participation in the CampusReady (Covid return) campaign
You may add multiple campaign / identity / initiative / ally stickers.
- Additional campaign signatures: these may be timely campaigns such as Aggies Vote. These often link to a current campus or systemwide campaign.
- Additional identity / ally signatures: Many initiatives offer identifying signatures such as FirstGen, AB540 ally, Guardian Scholar Ally, etc.
